How jewelry is made
A look inside Laura Lark’s jewellery workshop: from an idea to a piece that begins its life with you.

From idea to company
-
01
Idea
Most ideas come from nature. Organic shapes, textures, and imperfections are closer to Laura than perfect symmetry.
-
02
Sketch
Ideas take shape in sketches. Laura’s days are spent between the studio, sketching, clients, and searching for new ideas.
-
03
Workshop
In the workshop, cold metal becomes a story. Laura studied jewellery art and metal design at the Art Academy of Latvia and the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.

04
Your toy
A piece of jewellery is complete when it begins its life with the woman who chooses it. Connecting with clients helps create jewellery that lives beyond sketches and display cases.
In the third generation
Jewelry-making has been a family tradition for three generations: grandfather Vladislavs was a goldsmith, mother a jeweler, and grandmother Sofia a fashion designer.
Laura Lark’s storyI love the moment when cold metal becomes a story and a piece of jewelry begins its life with the woman who chooses it.
Jewelry by Other Artisans
Alongside Laura’s own collections, SOFIA LARK features a carefully curated selection of pieces by other designers. Laura chooses each piece herself, guided by its feel, quality, design, and character.
